This practice requires high levels of skill to go far, however for the beginner/intermediate person, it is possible to create more than you think is possible in one weekend workshop, making big smiles come alive from lots of fun, where you will go home feeling muscles well used, energetically high reaching for the stars, wanting to fly again again.

During our workshop we cultivate trust, support, safety, joy, listening, awareness and most of all bring people together the old fashioned way, through human connection, touch and play.

Flying and basing takes you into the energy of the dance, the atmosphere of the circus arts, the wisdom of yoga and the exhilaration of mastering a new skill.

We invite you to create beautiful postures, cool balances, graceful transitions and washing machines (a series of moves that go round and round!) some on super spin!
Working with a group of people creating feelings of trust and support, being here and now, is second to none.

“Be careful because discovering AcroYoga can transform your life, it takes people to new dimensions within and can radically change your perspectives on everything! Taking you to the place inside your heart where that joyful, playful child lives.”

ABOUT ACROYOGA
The word AcroYoga comes from the the Greek root Akros=high and the Sanskrit word Yoga=union, together making High Union.
AcroYoga is the blend between the base, flyer and spotter each person working together to create 'High Union.' From this place many amazing shapes can be created and, our students, by working together literally elevate each other.
AcroYoga is a community based practice that encourages personal transformation. With a focus on cultivating trust and safety, we support each other to achieve the unachievable! The practice invites you to experience the full spectrum of your being through opportunities to give and receive, support and be supported, experience strength and sensitivity. These approaches are designed to create accessibility to the practice and to facilitate healthier and happier people coming together in community.
